A new 'opportunity' for energy route through Israel, Netanyahu says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated that Tel Aviv could become part of a new transport corridor toward the Mediterranean, amid a rising global energy crisis with the curbs on the Strait of Hormuz. Speaking at a seminar in the Jordan Valley, Netanyahu said that previous energy crisis led governments to diversify their supply routes. "This is what will happen here as well," he expressed.
