Activists onboard Gaza-bound flotilla recount abuse in Israeli detention Global Sumud Flotilla activists arrived in Turkey on Thursday after being released from Israeli detention, with several participants alleging they suffered torture, humiliation, and violent beatings while in custody. Footage shared following their arrival showed a number of activists with visible bruising and injuries, as supporters gathered to welcome them back.
