Air raids, shelling reported across southern Lebanon

Air raids, shelling reported across southern Lebanon National News Agency reported that Israeli forces bombed the towns of Khiam and Qantara overnight, as drones remained in the skies over southern Lebanon from Sunday night into the morning. The agency said Israeli forces also dropped flares over Braachit and shelled the outskirts of Safad El Battikh, Yater, Majdel Selm and Chaitiyeh. Smoke rises from the site of an Israeli air strike that targeted the southern Lebanese village of Mayfadoun in Nabatieh on 2 May 2026.
