Ashura Mourned across Iran with Mass Gatherings

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Millions of mourners across Iran marked Ashura on Thursday through nationwide religious ceremonies, processions and traditional rituals commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), the third Imam of Shiite Muslims, and his companions in the Battle of Karbala.
