Bahrain announces curfew for maritime traffic Bahrain on Sunday announced a maritime curfew designed to improve security on its waters amid attacks from Iran. A nighttime ban on maritime traffic will stretch from 6:00 pm local time until 4:00 am "to safeguard the safety of seafarers and sea-goers and to enhance the security of Bahrain's coastlines amid the blatant Iranian aggression", the ministry of interior said in a statement.
