Bahrain court sentenced nine people to life in prison for working with IRGC Bahrain has sentenced nine people to life in prison after convicting them of carrying out "hostile and terrorist acts in cooperation with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps". State media reported that two other defendants received three-year prison terms after being found guilty of collaborating with the IRGC in activities prosecutors characterised as terrorism and espionage. According to Bahraini prosecutors, some of the defendants photographed strategic sites on behalf of the IRGC, while others allegedly helped transfer funds from Iran, including through cryptocurrency transactions, to finance operations.
