Bahrain says Israeli attack on Syrian air base violates international law Bahrain has condemned Tuesday’s Israeli air strikes on Syria’s Abu al-Duhur airbase as “a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity," saying that it is "a clear violation of the rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a threat to the security and stability of the region”. A statement by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed “Bahrain’s firm position in support of the sovereignty, independence … and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic”.
