Beirut hotel damaged in Israeli strike sheltered displaced people An Israeli strike hit a hotel in central Beirut housing displaced families, forcing families to evacuate the building, Al Jazeera reported. The strike appeared to target a single room at the Ramada hotel, causing damage to nearby rooms. The report said that many of the hotel’s guests were people displaced from Beirut’s southern suburbs, southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley following recent evacuation orders.
