Blasts heard along Iran's coastal areas, Iranian media reports After the United States launched a fresh round of strikes on Iran early Sunday morning, Iranian media reported that explosions were heard in several coastal areas of the country. Explosions were heard along the Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, including Bushehr, Asaluyeh and Chabahar, according to Mehr news and the state broadcaster, IRIB. Three blasts have reportedly been heard in Bandar Abbas and two in Sirik, with explosions also heard in Qeshm Island.
