Celebrities sign petition defending Southbank Centre head over Golders Green comments More than 250 celebrities have signed a letter in defence of Southbank Centre chair Misan Harriman over comments he made on the Golders Green attacks in London. The head of the cultural institution faced criticism in the British media after he highlighted the lack of attention paid to a Muslim victim of the 29 April attack in northern London. He also faced criticism over his comments on the victory of Reform UK in last week's local elections, in which he quoted Susan Sontag referring to the Holocaust.
