Centcom chief clashes with US lawmaker over war with Iran US Central Command chief Admiral Brad Cooper clashed with Democratic Congressman Seth Moulton during a heated House hearing on the US war with Iran. Moulton, a former US Marine Corps officer who served in Iraq, questioned the administration’s strategy and asked how the United States planned to “actually win this war”, saying it felt as though “we are losing”. Moulton pointed to the absence of a nuclear agreement with Iran and continued disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that the conflict “doesn’t seem to be going well”.
