Flotilla sets sail from Italy to challenge Gaza blockade Boats from the “Global Sumud Flotilla 2026 Spring Mission” departed from Sicily. The convoy, made up of 65 vessels, set sail into the Mediterranean aiming to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid. Palestinian flags were raised on many of the boats as they left the port.
