Four Palestine Action activists convicted over 2024 damage to Israeli weapons factory A UK court has convicted four pro-Palestinian activists of criminal damage after a 2024 action targeting a facility operated by Israeli military technology company Elbit. Prosecutors told a London court that the defendants, who denied the charges, were affiliated with the now-banned group Palestine Action, which organised the action at the Bristol site in southwest England in August 2024 Two other individuals tried in the same case were cleared of the charges. Palestine Action has previously accused the UK government of being complicit in Israeli war crimes in Gaza, and says it is “committed to ending global participation in Israel’s genocidal and apartheid regime.
