Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla arrives off Turkish coast More than 30 vessels from the Global Sumud Flotilla gathered off the Turkish coast near Marmaris on Saturday as activists prepared for the next stage of their maritime journey towards Gaza. Videos shared online showed ships and smaller boats assembled in open waters while Turkish officials, activists and supporters welcomed the flotilla. “The Turkish coast guard and local GSF fleet sailed out to greet us near where the flotilla will anchor off the coast,” activist Alex Colston wrote on X.
