Gaza death toll rises to 72,938 as Israeli attacks continue The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,938, with 172,919 people wounded since 7 October 2023, according to the Palestinian health ministry. The ministry added that Israeli strikes have killed 929 Palestinians and wounded 2,811 others since a nominal ceasefire took effect on 11 October.
