Hamas accuses Israel of attempts at 'obliterating evidence' of crimes in Gaza Hamas late on Monday accused Israel of trying to conceal the evidence of "brutal crimes" committed against Palestinians in Gaza amid its genocidal war for over two years. The movement said Israel attempted to "obliterate evidence" through "removing, crushing and relocating the rubble", despite the presence of "bodies of thousands of missing people and material evidence of the crimes of genocide committed by the occupation over two years". "Tampering with these sites, with what they contain of bodies and evidences, constitutes a violation of international law and the International Court of Justice's ruling calling for the preservation of evidence, as well as an affront to the dignity of the martyrs and the right of their families to recover and bury the bodies of their loved ones," the statement read.
