Hamas official confirms killing of leader’s son in Gaza City Hamas official Basim Naim has confirmed the killing of the son of Hamas chief Khalil al-Hayya in an Israeli air strike on Gaza City, Al Jazeera reported. Azzam al-Hayya is the fourth son of Hamas’s exiled Gaza chief to have been killed by Israeli attacks. One of his sons was killed last year in an Israeli strike targeting the Hamas leadership in Qatar's Doha, while two other sons were killed in past Israeli strikes on Gaza.
