Hezbollah claims fresh attacks on Israeli forces in southern Lebanon Hezbollah said its fighters carried out additional attacks on Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, including a strike on an Israeli Merkava tank on the outskirts of Hadatha and an attack on soldiers near Yohmor al-Shaqif. The claims came after the group said it had launched at least 25 operations against Israeli troops and military sites on Saturday. In its statement, Hezbollah said it remained committed to defending Lebanon and its people, adding that its operations were intended to deter Israel and prevent it from pursuing what the group described as “dangerous objectives” against the country.
