Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 26 (ANI): Indian benchmark indices opened on a mixed note on Wednesday, as Brent crude slipped to around USD 86 per barrel amid hopes of progress around the Strait of Hormuz. The Sensex opened higher, surging over 200 points, while the Nifty held above the 24,300 level. The Sensex opened at 77,892.
