Iran attacks Israel in first missile wave after Mojtaba Khamenei appointment Iran launched a new wave of missiles toward Israel on Monday following the appointment of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new supreme leader, according to Iranian state media. State broadcaster IRIB said the missiles were fired as part of what it described as the “30th wave of Operation True Promise 4".
