Iran negotiator says talks helped stop bloodshed in Lebanon Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf has defended his country's decision to engage in negotiations with the United States in Switzerland, arguing that the talks were necessary to help halt violence in Lebanon.
