Iran picks Khameneis successor who were the candidates

Israel has already announced its intention to kill whoever would become the next Supreme Leader Supreme Leader Mullah Ali Khamenei, who ruled Iran for 37 years, was killed in a US-Israeli strike on Tehran on February 28, at the outset of a war which has now embroiled much of the Middle East. Israel has warned it would target any figure selected to replace him.
