Iran Rejects UNSC Meeting on Resolution 2231 as Legally Baseless

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s UN envoy denounced a Security Council meeting on the country's nuclear program as "legally unfounded," arguing that Resolution 2231 expired in October 2025 and no longer provides any legal basis for Council discussions or the invocation of the so-called snapback mechanism.
