Iran reopens six airports as flights gradually resume Iranian state media said six airports are now operational, including Mehrabad, Mashhad, Shiraz, Zahedan, Gorgan and Urmia. Flights from Kerman, Yazd and Birjand are expected to resume in a later phase, according to aviation authorities. Officials said domestic and international flights will increase gradually as airspace conditions improve, with transit flights also set to resume.
