Iran's Tehran-Mashhad railway suspended after US strikes

Iran's Tehran-Mashhad railway suspended after US strikes State media reported that the train service between Tehran and the northeastern city of Mashhad has been suspended following US strikes, just hours before the burial of late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in his hometown. His body was expected to be buried late on Thursday in the Shrine of Imam Reza, located in central Mashdad. The Islamic Republic of Iran Railways blamed "a criminal attack by the US-Israeli enemy" on the route, adding that repair teams hvae been dispatched.
