Iran says four projectiles hit cities east of Hormuz Strait Iran's provisional security official said on Tuesday that four projectiles struck the southeastern cities of Chabahar and Konarak, east of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's IRNA news, adding that assessments of possible damage are underway. Iran’s Fars news agency also reported that several explosions were heard in Konarak, while the exact location remains unclear, following earlier reports of explosions heard east of Bandar Abbas. The US military announced on Tuesday that it was carrying out new strikes on Iran.
