Iran warns against further US military ‘adventurism’, holds calls with Pakistan, Turkey Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned in a statement on Thursday against any further US military “adventurism”, after condemning US attacks on the country as a violation of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding in a phone call with Pakistan’s army chief, Iran’s foreign ministry said. Araghchi also spoke to his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on the phone this afternoon, according to Turkey’s TRT media, to discuss the current state of the US-Iran ceasefire following the escalation of hostilities in the region.
