Iranian missile hits oil tanker in Qatar, defence ministry says Qatar was targeted by three cruise missiles launched from Iran, one of which struck an oil tanker, Qatar’s defence ministry said. The ministry said in a post on X that it intercepted two of the missiles, while the third hit a tanker leased to Qatar Energy. "Procedures were implemented, and coordination was established with relevant authorities to evacuate the tanker, which had a crew of 21, without any casualties," the ministry said.
