Iraq PM warns regional security worsening amid growing attacks The Iraq Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani has warned that the security situation across the region is deteriorating as attacks on diplomatic missions and coalition facilities risk drag the country into a deeper crisis. “The security situation in the region is worsening due to the continuation of military operations,” he said. Sudani also condemned attacks on members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, an Iraqi paramilitary coalition that operates alongside the country’s security forces.
