IRGC navy commander to be buried in Abadan, Fars news reports Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’s (IRGC) navy, Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, who was killed in an Israeli strike, will be buried in the city of Abadan in the western province of Khuzestan, Fars news agency reported. Citing officials in Khuzestan, the report said that his funeral will be held on Friday in Abadan’s main square, and Tangsiri will be laid to rest in the city’s main cemetery. According to Israel, Tangsiri was killed in a strike that also targeted “senior officers of the naval command” last Wednesday.
