IRGC says it destroyed US drone over Strait of Hormuz Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Tuesday that it had destroyed a US MQ1 drone flying over the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's Tasnim news agency. The US is yet to confirm this statement, which comes after the IRGC claimed to have also captured an unmanned US submersible at the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz.
