Israel blames Lebanon after Israeli attacks kills dozens
Israel blames Lebanon after Israeli attacks kills dozens Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has blamed the “presence of Israeli forces in southern Lebanon” as being from “the result of the utter failure of the Lebanese government to fulfil its obligations” and keep Hezbollah fighters north of the Litani River. This comes after attacks on Lebanese territory on Tuesday night killed at least 30 people and Israel expanded its ground operation beyond the so-called “Yellow line”. Saar also claimed that “Israel has no ambitions in Lebanese territory” in quotes carried by Israel’s Arabic-language social media account, despite Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire negotiations.
