Israel’s UN ambassador questions France, China, Pakistan envoys on Hormuz Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said he questioned diplomats during a UN General Assembly session about whether payments had been made to Iran for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. “How much money did you pay Iran to move ships safely through the Strait of Hormuz? ” he said he asked the French ambassador.
