Israel says it killed Hamas military chief in Gaza The Israeli military said in a statement that it had targeted and killed Izz al-Din al-Haddad, the head of Hamas’ military wing in Gaza, in an air strike on Gaza City on Friday. Hamas has not officially confirmed Haddad’s death.
