Israel strikes Litani River bridge in Lebanon Israeli forces on Friday struck a bridge over Lebanon’s Litani River, which is a significant crossing to move between the northern and southern parts of the country. The Israeli military said the Zrarieh Bridge served as “a key crossing for terrorists from the Hezbollah terrorist organisation” and that the group used it to “build up its power and prepare for combat. ” In a statement published on Telegram, the military added that Hezbollah had recently placed launchers near the bridge and carried out attacks toward Israel.
