Israel vows to intensify attacks across Lebanon The Israeli military has vowed to expand its attacks across Lebanon after Iran fired missiles towards Israel in response to Israeli strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs. “The (Iranian) regime is attempting to establish a new equation through direct attacks on Israeli territory in response to IDF operations in Dahiyeh,” military spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin said in a televised statement. Defrin defended Israel’s attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs and signalled more strikes on Lebanon.
