Israeli airstrikes continue in southern Lebanon Separate Israeli strikes targeting areas around Tyre continue since early Tuesday morning. At least eight people have been killed after an Israeli airstrike on a housing area in the city of Tyre, the civil defence in southern Lebanon told Al Jazeera Arabic. Separate airstrikes targeting various villages in the neighbouring Nabatieh region killed at least five additional people, according to Lebanese state media.
