Israeli forces arrest 23 Palestinians in sweeping West Bank raids Israeli forces have arrested at least 23 Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank, according to Wafa news agency and local officials, as the military expands its campaign across the territory. Troops detained eight people in ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, and erected military checkpoints across the governorate after searching homes. Soldiers also arrested six Palestinians in Azzun, near Qalqilya; four in Nablus, including two brothers; two in Deir al-Ghasoun, north of Tulkarem; and two in Bethlehem, including a journalist.
