Israeli officers fatally shoot man following chase in Rahat Two officers from Israel’s Border Police shot and killed a suspect overnight in the southern Bedouin city of Rahat, police said. According to authorities, officers attempted to stop and investigate a vehicle, but the driver refused to halt and tried to flee. Police said the suspect later abandoned the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot.
