Israeli raids, settler attacks escalate across occupied West Bank The occupied West Bank saw a wave of Israeli military raids, arrests and settler attacks overnight on Friday, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. Settlers reportedly set fire to a house in the village of al-Lubban Asharqiya, south of Nablus, prompting Palestinian Civil Defence crews to respond and extinguish the blaze. In Jenin, residents of al-Asa’asa village were reportedly forced by Israeli troops to exhume the body of a Palestinian man buried earlier in the day and relocate it, after soldiers claimed the grave site was too close to an Israeli settlement.
