Israeli soldier killed in southern Lebanon The Israeli military has announced that an Israeli soldier was killed on Saturday night in southern Lebanon. The military named the soldier as David Hazutt, aged 21. He was killed near the Lebanese village of Deir Siryan after Israeli forces encountered a Hezbollah operative, the military said.
