Lebanon Prime Minister: ‘No end in sight’ to Israeli attacks
Lebanon Prime Minister: ‘No end in sight’ to Israeli attacks Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said that there is no end in sight to the war which has already led to the displacement of a million people, as Israel’s latest bombardment on the country enters its second month. “Lebanon has become a victim of war – one whose outcomes and end date no one can predict,” Salam announced on Thursday, Reuters reports. He condemned Israel's “significant expansion in the occupation of Lebanese territories”, calling the talk about creating a Greater Israel which extends into Lebanon to create a buffer zone for security “dangerous”.
