More than 24,000 civilian units damaged in Iran, Red Crescent says More than 24,000 civilian units have been damaged across various sectors in Iran, including 19,775 residential units, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society said, according to IRNA. The report said 4,511 business units were also damaged, which could have significant economic and livelihood consequences for residents. It added that 69 schools were damaged and 195 teachers and students were injured.
