More than 300 killed amid renewed fighting in Yemen Over 300 fighters and civilians have been killed since renewed fighting erupted in Yemen last week, according to AFP citing a tally based on military and medical sources from both sides. While government officials told the agency that 84 of their troops were killed over the weekend, Houthi military sources said that 57 of their fighters were killed in the same time period. The conflict has also displaced civilians, with the UN humanitarian agency OCHA estimating that around 1,790 households fled the areas of Maqbanah and Jabal Habashi in Taiz.
