Morning recap
Morning recap Good morning Middle East Eye readers, Tensions in the region remain high as Iran and the US clash over maritime control in the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, the US Central Command (Centcom) denied Iran's statements that passage through the waterway is “only permitted through routes designated" by Tehran, and instead asserted that Washington helped "facilitate the successful transit of more than 800 commercial vessels and 380 million barrels of crude oil".
