Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin are meeting in Beijing for talks expected to focus heavily on the Iran conflict, energy security and shifting global alliances. Fighting and maritime tensions also continue across Lebanon and the Strait of Hormuz.
