Nato raises ballistic missile defence posture after Turkey attack Nato officials said it has strengthened its “ballistic missile defence posture” after a missile was launched toward alliance member Turkey and intercepted by its systems, Reuters news agency reported. The alliance said its 32 member states agreed the defence posture should remain at a heightened level amid the ongoing regional threat. Officials said the decision comes as Iran continues missile and drone attacks across the Middle East.
