Nearly 700,000 displaced in Lebanon, Unicef says
Nearly 700,000 displaced in Lebanon, Unicef says Nearly 700,000 people, including around 200,000 children, have been forced from their homes across Lebanon over the past week alone as a result of Israeli bombardment and expulsion orders, Unicef, the UN children’s agency, said. Unicef said the number is in addition to the tens of thousands of people "already uprooted from previous escalations". At least 83 children have been killed and 254 wounded across Lebanon since 2 March, an average of more than 10 children killed each day, with roughly 36 wounded daily, it said.
