Palestine protest organisers found guilty of breaching police restrictions Submitted by Areeb Ullah on Wed, 04/01/2026 - 10:28 Chris Nineham and Ben Jamal found guilty of breaking protest restrictions imposed by the London Metropolitan Police Off Two prominent organisers of protests in support of Palestine in the UK have been found guilty of breaking protest restrictions after police arrested them. Chris Nineham, 62, the Stop the War Coalition's vice-chair, and Ben Jamal, 61, chair of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, were found guilty of two counts of breaking the Public Order Act. The activists were arrested during a pro-Palestine rally where police imposed late restrictions on the march after previously approving a route to the BBC proposed by organisers months in advance.
