Palestinian citizen of Israel killed in shooting in Haifa, report says A Palestinian citizen of Israel has been killed in a shooting in Maghar, Haifa district, WAFA reported. The killing brings the total number of Palestinian citizens of Israel killed since the beginning of 2026 to 142, including at least three killed by Israeli police fire, five women, and three minors under the age of 18. The surge follows a record year in 2025, when 252 people were killed in 218 separate incidents, according to the Abraham Initiatives, a non-governmental organisation that monitors violence among Palestinian citizens of Israel, WAFA reported.
